1) Register yourself on the EquiTime application

  • Go to the "Log In" screen for EquiTime (Image 01). Click  "Sign In" at the bottom right.
  • Fill in all the questions requested in the pop-up screen (Image 02).
  • Create a username & password, don't forget, it will be what you use to sign in & out of the app.
  • The email listed is where the reset information gets sent if you forget your username or password and need to reset this information.
  • Your phone number is needed for conformation purposes and needs to be input with all eleven digits with no spaces i.e.: 1XXXXXXXXXX
  • Press "Submit" to be sent an invitation to your email, log in to the app to complete the registration.

2) Add your horses to the app

  • Go to the horse's tab and click the top-left " + " symbol. 
  • Fill in the requested information about the horse. 
  • Press "Submit" to add the horse to your list completely

3) Define the horse’s locations (optional)

  • Swipe left on the horse in question and a small screen will populate.
  • Click the "Profile" option on the small menu screen, the horse's profile will then appear.
  • Select the "Location" option and a carousel of locations will be available to choose from.
  • Select the appropriate location of the horse, and choose the "Done" option in the right-hand corner. 
  • It’s completed after you press "Submit".

4) Add Horse Profile Picture

  • Swipe to the left to reveal the mini menu then select the “Profile” option.
  • Click the grey circle at the top left where the Profile picture should display.
  • Click the “Edit” option at the top right corner and a mini menu will display
  • The options to “Choose from Library”, “Take a Photo”, or “Delete” will appear.
  • To add a picture from your media library, click “Choose from Library”.
  • Alternatively, you can pick "Take a Photo" to allow you to use your camera to add a new picture.
  • If you don’t like the photo on display, you can choose the “Delete” option and then replace it.
  • The "Delete" option only available only after a picture has been added as a profile picture.

5) Add pictures to the horse (optional)

  • Swipe left on the horse in question to get a mini menu and click the "Pictures" option.
  • Press the  " + " option in the top right corner of the screen.
  • This is the option for adding pictures from your library.
  • Chose a picture from the gallery then press "Done" to complete the process.
  • The pictures will be on display in the gallery.

6) Add workouts for the horse

  • Click on the horse's name and it will take you to the workout screen.
  • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled and in sync with the stopwatch needed to add workout information.
  • There is a " + " sign at the top left of the screen click this button.
  • This will allow you to add workout laps or audio files from the stopwatch by simply pressing the "Green/Red" button to start a lap.
  • You can also split the laps by pressing the "Yellow" button on the stopwatch.
  • By pressing the "Green/Red" button again it will stop the lap and send the information to the workout screen.
  • Alternatively, you can add an audio file by simply holding down the "Blue" button on top of the stopwatch and stating whatever pertinent information is needed then let go of the button when a message is complete. 

7) How to connect the Stopwatch with Bluetooth

  • Look at the Bluetooth symbol at the top right corner of the screen. 
  • If the symbol is blue, it's automatically connected to the closest available stopwatch. 
  • If the symbol is red, then you will have to ensure Bluetooth is enabled so it can find and sync to the closest stopwatch.
  • To enable Bluetooth, go to, settings on your phone then click the yes option for Bluetooth.
  • It will show the available Bluetooth options and you can simply pick the stopwatch.

8) Invite others to the EquiTime application

  • Go to the settings page and click on the blue hyperlink "Copy Invite Link".
  • The option will appear to "Copy to Clipboard" or "Share" an invite link, click the "Share" option.
  • The invitation link will be sent via text message to the contact you send it to, and they will be able to download the application and register.
  • You need to follow up on that invitation by sharing your "Pin" with the contact.

9) Sending your PIN

  • Go to the settings page and look for the app-generated "Pin".
  • Click on the " > to the right of the pin and the option will appear to "Share" or "Copy to the Clipboard".
  • Choose the option to "Share" the pin that will be sent to the other party via text.
  • At this point, the recipient can use the pin to share a horse with the person that sent the pin.

10) Share your horses with other EquiTime users.

  • Go to the horse screen and swipe left on the horse you want to share.
  • Click the "Share" option from the small screen that will appear.
  • Your contact list will populate so you can choose from your list of current contacts.
  • If you would like to share a horse with a member that isn’t on your list, you can add them.
  • To do so click the " + " sign on the top right corner of the contacts screen, and a small screen will pop up for you to input the pin number, then press "Submit".
  • Either situation will result in an invitation being sent to the recipient, once accepted there will be a "Handshake" on the right of the horse and in the invitations tab, the request will turn green. All actions indicate the horse is now being shared between the two parties.

11) Get a notification on updated workouts for the horse.

  • The horse needs to be added to the horse's tab and on your list of horses to get notifications.
  • When new information is uploaded to the horse for workouts: laps or audio files this information will be logged and sent to any contact attached to the horse by way of notification and logged into their workouts chart for the horse in question.

12) View contacts on the contacts list.

  • The Contacts will be established by sending your pin to a recipient. 
  • Once your pin has been input your information will be listed on their contacts list so they can then share a horse with you.
  • This will create and establish a relationship between you the other party and the shared horse.
  • Once a relationship has been established the party will be listed on your contacts list that is viewable by simply pressing the contact tab. 
  • It is the second option from the left or swiping left and selecting share from the horse menu.

13) View sent/received invitations for shared horses

  • The invitations list will show on the main screen the invitations that you have received.
  • The invitations you send off will be in the tab at the top left corner. The invitations are color-coordinated. 
  • White shows it was sent but the recipient has neither accepted nor denied the request, green means the invitation was accepted, and red means that the invitation was rejected.
